2009 CIRI DATA & UPGRADE

The 2009 CIRI Data will be available on Human Rights Day, December 10th. Also included in this release are scores for domestic movement, foreign movement, religious freedom, and judicial independence for 1981-2006. Finally, the state of Kosovo has been added, with data beginning in 2009.

2007 CIRI DATA & UPGRADE

2007 CIRI Data will be available on December 10th. There are many upgrades in this version of the dataset other than just the addition of 2007 data. If you are a previous user, it is very important that you read about these changes before using the new dataset.

CIRI DATASET WINS AWARD!

The CIRI dataset has been awarded the "2006 Dataset Award" by the Comparative Politics section of the American Political Science Association.
